Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Another Place, The Machrie and Golf Links

Principle Purpose:

Our Housekeeping Assistants prepare guests’ rooms for their arrival, ensure their laundry is clean and play a vital role in ensuring our hotel looks first-class every day. We’re looking for lively and energetic people to work in our friendly housekeeping team.

My Profile 

What qualities and qualifications are essential or desirable in this role

General Duties

• Service all allocated bedrooms to the required standard and time set
• Ensure all corridors outside rooms are kept to the required standard
• Keep linen cupboards clean, tidy, and closed when not in use
• Clean guest toilets and changing room areas
• Clean Glasshouse, Sheep Shedd and offices when required
• Perform any additional duties as required by Head Housekeeper, Deputy Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisors

Essential:

• Previous Housekeeping experience
• Ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Carry out correct key signing in and out daily
• Be aware of key security at all times
